He is a potential enemy of Israel, but I have certain respect to that person. He stays cool, he stays logical, he is a real fighter and a cruel leader.

Remember from Murphy's Laws: Professional soldiers are predictable; the world is full of dangerous amateurs. Assad is professional and his opposition is fanatic amateurs. It is dangerous to give weapons to such people! More weapons to our poor region which is close to self-explosion from so many existing weapons...

The West should start confiscation of weapons from both sides and its destruction but not giving more!
I am so honestly and deeply sorry for Syrian civil people. I start trembling when remember our last Lebanon War which lasted for about one month and imagine what they have had for two years. All those people who make decision to give more weapon here have never seen a real war. It will ruin Syria completely and those amateurs will pass to another place to continue to fight.

I like compliments

In my office appeared an announcement:  precaution against the sexual harrassment.

From now the compliments are forbidden, positive personal remarks to women are forbidden, to stay alone inside the room with women is forbidden, no remarks about dressing, about body, about hairstyle.....
A boss-man is in the most terrible situation: he is under suspicion all the time. If he promotes a woman - this is suspicious, maybe he wants something more from her. If he critisizes- maybe he wants to press her to give him something else...

Now, imagine: I am the only woman in my department which occupies the whole floor in the building. Up to now I was sure that I am on the best position than other women.  I like to be and to look very feminine between all the men. They always have been very careful and caring with me, but now when a harrassment has became a "politics of the company", I feel that they are afraid of me..

The world is getting crazy!

First of all, all of us just men and women!

We are different, we are naturally different!

How can I feel myself a woman without appreciation of men?

Realistic Drill of war time

Yesterday we heard the sirene two times. In the morning I was in the office and we went to the shelter on the staircases.
In the evening I was in the school and all the children went to the shelter inside the school on the under-ground floor. You should see a difference between kids who had known the real war time and heard real sirene and real explosions and those who were born after the last war on the north of Israel. The sound of sirene is very very frightening.....
When I came home, I took a timer and walked fast to the nearest shelter. It took me 1min 20sec, which is too much taking into account that I started from near the house. But if an attack will start at night it will take some more time to leave the house. In my living zone we have only 1min to escape after the sirene starts. It means we have to run very fast....
G-d save us!

Плохо жить лучше всего в Израиле...2

Если уж суждено жить в военное время, то лучше уж это пережить в Израиле.
Вот на сегодня у нас запланировано две учебные тревоги для жителей тыла.
Бомбоубежища открыты - можно зайти, осмотреться, привыкнуть к обстановке....
Противогазы готовы, мы их даже из дальней кладовки перенесли в ближнею...
Детей так подготовили к этой мысли, что они уже ждут, когда начнется...
А в том, что начнется, никто и не сомневается.
Но, как же не хочется!
Как же это страшно!

Do you still think that terrorism has no nation and no religion?

London (CNN) -- They first hit the man, thought to be a British soldier, with a car in broad daylight. Then the two attackers hacked him to death and dumped his body in the middle of a southeastern London road.

"We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you until you leave us alone," said a meat-cleaver-wielding man with bloody hands....

They expect us to "leave them alone".... And "we" doesn't mean only Jews, just open your eyes.
The truth is that their victims have no nation and no religion....

Плохо жить лучше всего в Израиле...

Открываю серию заметок под таким странным заголовком, рассказом о необъяснимом генетическом сбое...

Молодая здоровая семья с ребенком переезжает на постоянное место жительства из России в Израиль. Потихоньку осваиваются, устраиваются, как говорят в Израиле "абсорбируются".... Конечно, не все проходит гладко, руководящих должностей не предлагают, деньги на земле не валяются. Через пару лет решаются на второго ребенка, заповедь: Плодиться и размножаться - никто не отменял.
Следуя здоровой логике, что они еще относительно молоды и вполне здоровы, родители не особо зацикливались на генетических тестах с непонятными названиями. Тут их "злодейка судьба" и подловила. Шок. Синдром Дауна. Чувства родителей и их реакцию описывать не буду, это невозможно представить и понять.
Реакция врачей в родильном отделении: радуйтесь ребенку, ему нужен немного особый уход, но мы вас всему научим.
Немедленно вызван социальный работник: вы его главное любите, а во всем остальном мы вам поможем.
С трех месяцев его направляют в садик для таких же необыкновенных деток, а садик такой же необыкновенный - лучше, чем обыкновенный. Каких там только не предусмотрено развивающих забав и занятий, включая бассейн в сопровождении мамы. И действительно,  научили родителей всему, все показали и объяснили и все это без надрыва, без трагедии, жалости в голосе и без всяких альтернативных вариантов - куда бы пристроить малыша, просто без вариантов! И не связано с положением и состоятельностью родителей.

Вот если им было такое суждено, вот если записано в Книге Судьбы, так к лучшему, что это случилось в Израиле.
